Converge
Converge was a network of strategists, designers, storytellers, and systems thinkers focused on cultivating impact networks and supporting network leaders. It is. Small Foundation partnered with Converge since 2018 to develop our network practice and theory and to provide coaching and training to our impact network partners in sub-Saharan Africa. Small Foundation supported Converge to develop knowledge products for the wider public, including the Network Leadership Series.
Small Foundation initially partnered with Converge to inform our thinking around networks as an engine for systemic change. Over the years the partnership evolved into one of deep learning and collaboration that continually evolves our network practice, bringing deep support and peer learning to our sub-Saharan African partners. This took the form of innovative and practical tools and trainings; coaching for our partners; and in 2022 the creation of the Network of Network Coordinators, a locally-led peer learning initiative. Along the way we worked together to share the collective wisdom of Converge via an Impact Networks book and documentary.
Converge wound down in 2023.
