Warc Africa

Warc Africa has operated in West Africa for over ten years. Founded in Sierra Leone, Warc Africa expanded its operations to Ghana in 2019 and over this time has continued to develop its business model to solve poverty and hunger at scale whilst seeking financial sustainability.

Warc Africa aims to unlock the potential of farmers by removing barriers and selling inputs as a service, knowledge building and access to markets Warc Africa continues to explore innovative approaches to effectively serve rural farmers including the application of regenerative agricultural practices and implementation of gender-focused strategies.

In 2020, Small Foundation supported Warc Africa’s expansion in Ghana and in 2022 provided a guarantee to help unlock short-term debt financing which has supported its growth.
