Founders Factory Africa
In 2021 Small Foundation and Founders Factory Africa (FFA) began a multiyear partnership to support over 18 agtech startups from across sub-Saharan Africa. We selected ventures with the potential to innovate and improve the delivery of a range of services to smallholder farmers and micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the agricultural sector.
FFA and the team at 54 Collective, an African startup studio, have incubated and accelerated over 100 ventures across various market sectors. This work has been supported by Standard Bank Group, Netcare, Lilly Ventures, Johnson & Johnson Foundation and Mastercard Foundation.
Our collective ambition is that ventures scale to attract capital from a broader range of investors, leading to improved efficiencies, opportunities and livelihoods across the continent.
