Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs

Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE) is a global network of organisations that propels entrepreneurship in emerging markets.

ANDE supports entrepreneurship in emerging markets as a way to create prosperity for the world’s poor. Small Foundation is a member of ANDE and previously had a multiannual strategic collaboration agreement with ANDE to support the network’s development, including enhancing ANDE chapter outputs in East and West Africa.

In July 2020 ANDE launched a new phase of its Uganda Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Initiative (UEEI), an initiative funded by Small Foundation and Argidius Foundation. This multi-year, multi-stakeholder initiative aims to improve the business environment for small and growing businesses by using a systems-led approach to catalyze thriving, self-sustaining entrepreneurial ecosystems in Kampala and Gulu.
