Uganda Agribusiness Alliance
Uganda Agribusiness Alliance (UAA) was established in 2014 with the ambition to share expertise and facilitate collaboration across the Ugandan agribusiness ecosystem. Through convening and coordinating key value chain actors, UAA promotes sustainable, inclusive development for a competitive agribusiness sector.
Central to this partnership is the expansion of UAA’s incubation of agricultural value chain platforms. This approach brings together diverse industry stakeholders and value chain actors to facilitate collaboration, communication, and the discovery of common interests. Small Foundation and UAA believe these platforms have the potential to revolutionise agribusiness practices in Uganda.
Small Foundation partnered with UAA in 2023 to support its incubation of value chain platforms, through which UAA engages value chain actors, and its membership engagement. Small Foundation also supports UAA to strengthen its policies, procedures and advocacy efforts through data collection and case studies.
Small Foundation previously partnered with UAA in 2020-21 to strengthen its network strategy and sustainability.
