The Opportunity Fund was an initiative by Partners in Food Solutions, Technoserve, and Root Capital, with support from the Initiative for Smallholder Finance, to explore ways to reach the ‘last mile’ of SME lending: loans in the range of $10,000 – $50,000.
Small Foundation provided funding for an initial phase of this research and development work.
