A&A Collective is a global community of emerging investment professionals working towards the growth of the African tech and investment ecosystem. The Collective provides a space for young professionals in these ecosystems to connect and collaborate, accelerating their growth and career progression.
Over the coming three years, Small Foundation will support A&A Collective’s application of a network approach in deepening its engagement with and between members, sharing learning from across the African investment ecosystem and supporting the development of emerging investment talent.
Small Foundation previously supported A&A Collective through a one-year partnership to identify where and how their role in the African investment ecosystem could be strengthened through a network approach (2024-2025).

In 2025, A&A Collective deepened its role as a connector within Africa’s investment ecosystem, expanding membership to 595 members (47% female) across 28 countries and 177 firms and funds. The co-launch of the 2025 African Investment Salaries Report with Dream VC as well as their 2024 – 2025 Network Impact Report added a vital transparency resource in the ecosystem.
Through community events, conferences, and learning programmes, A&A Collective reached nearly 850 participants across the year, with 350 engaged in workshops and trainings aimed at strengthening capabilities across Africa’s private capital landscape.
