Small Foundation is excited to announce the continuation of our partnership with A&A Collective, a network of emerging investment professionals investing in, and deploying capital on, the African continent. Through its core pillars – educate, connect and inspire – the Collective supports over 600 members across 30 countries, and last year hosted over 30 events, bringing together key members of the investment ecosystem to catalyse the growth of this next generation of professionals.
Over the next three years, our partnership will focus on strengthening A&A Collective through a network approach, deepening the connectivity, coordination, and long-term sustainability of the network. The partnership aims to enhance engagement among members, strengthen collaboration and shared learning across the African investment ecosystem, and support the continued development of emerging investment talent. We believe this continued support will cement the Collective’s role as a key facilitator and catalyst within the African investment ecosystem.
Reflecting on the partnership, co-founders Yvonne Okafor and Frances Tyner shared:
“We are very excited to continue our partnership with Small Foundation to strengthen A&A Collective and support our community members, the next generation of African investment professionals. Africa’s structural challenges will require bold, well-directed capital, and the investors and operators emerging from this community will be a key part of those rewriting the future of investing across the continent.”

Membership remains open to early and mid-career professionals with experience in the investment space, who have a clear dedication to contributing to the growth of the African tech and investment ecosystem. For more information about the community and to join, please visit their website here.
