London Africa and Small Foundation extend our partnership

We are excited to announce the continuation of our partnership with London Africa, a community for those working across or looking to enter the startup, tech, investment, innovation and creative sectors in the UK-Africa corridor.

Founded in 2021, London Africa has grown to a membership of 250. The network convenes its members regularly, hosts community events, shares news through a members WhatsApp group and builds partnerships with other Africa-focused networks and organisations. Over 500 individuals from the African tech and investment ecosystem have attended London Africa events.

Small Foundation’s support will help London Africa to continue these activities and to revise its membership offering. Together we are committed to ensuring the African-focused tech and startup community continues to grow, add value and contribute to the development and effectiveness of rural SME ecosystems across Africa.

Reflecting on the partnership, Anthony William Catt, Co-Founder said, “Small Foundation played a crucial role last year, helping us transform our regular meetups into a thriving community. Their continued support as our lead partner has empowered both the committee and our members, providing the confidence, resources, and backing needed to expand our network even further.

As the UK-Africa tech and startup corridor continues to grow, its needs continue to evolve. Building on the success of last year, we strive to improve the community for our members and the wider ecosystem. Small Foundation,  alongside other key partners, will be instrumental in helping us achieve this over the coming year.”

Membership is open to founders, investors, operators, civil servants, media, innovators, creatives and anyone looking to learn about the UK-Africa tech and investment ecosystem. For more information go to the London Africa community website.
