Association of Countrywide Innovation Hubs partners with Small Foundation

Small Foundation is excited to announce a new partnership with the Association of Countrywide Innovation Hubs (ACIH). This partnership aims to enhance innovation, coordination and learning across its membership of 50 grassroots innovation hubs in Kenya through the application of a network approach. 

ACIH is dedicated to driving entrepreneurship, collaboration, and growth across rural and peri-urban areas of Kenya. It promotes activities and programmes of the member hubs, with a vision of testing and building impactful sustainable businesses outside Nairobi.  

Over the next year, our partnership will focus on embedding a network approach into ongoing activities. This includes organising regional networking sessions to promote interaction and collaboration among local hubs; hosting a national networking summit to enhance national integration; and attending the Afrilabs annual conference to broaden perspectives and gather pan-African learnings.  

We share an ambition that engaging with a network approach will create opportunities for increased knowledge sharing and collaborative action at the regional, national and continental levels. We believe this has the potential to build impactful sustainable businesses across Kenya.
