The Climate Resilient Africa Fund (CRAF) is an early-stage investment vehicle focused on supporting ventures that address the intersection of agriculture, food systems, and climate adaptation in Africa. Its mandate is to back enterprises that can contribute to more resilient value chains and rural livelihoods.

CRAF combines financial investment with structured post-investment support. This includes guidance on risk management, partnership development, and growth planning to help portfolio companies build stronger foundations for long-term sustainability.

Through our GP Working Capital Facility, Small Foundation is investing to enable the fund to advance its pipeline development and strengthen operations during the fundraising phase. This aligns with our commitment to work with local fund managers that are designing context-driven approaches to investment in underserved markets.
