Commissioned by Small Foundation, the study set out to identify operational best practices to serve agri-SMEs more effectively, efficiently and profitably.

The research assessed lenders’ procedures across the loan lifecycle and benchmarked their performance by turnaround time, staffing ratios, and costs relative to total loans originated, highlighting lessons to improve both profitability and impact in agri-SME lending.
