Small Foundation is growing!

This week Small Foundation gathers for our bi-annual offsite – the first of two in-person meetings we host every year to connect around, review and learn from our collective work.

Our team has never been so large, and many of us are meeting in person for the first time. Over the past several years we have worked to increase the team and capacity of Small Foundation to deploy more resources, build more relationships and ecosystem knowledge, and deliver more impact. Small Foundation hired its first non-family employee in 2013 (now our Deputy CEO, Liz Wilson), growing to 7 staff in 2018. The past five years has seen us double in size, now standing at 14 strong and growing.

Meet our newest team members

As with our impact network practice and partners our experience is that convening is a critical part of our work as an effective foundation. Through convening we invite connection and hold space for co-creation and deeper collaboration to serve our vision. mission and goal.

It’s time to take off our headphones, close our laptops, and get ready to hold space, share ideas, and break bread together. We look forward to strengthening old and new connections and to co-creating for the first time as the newest iteration of Small Foundation.
