Small Foundation’s Henning Ringholz on UNCDF’s Capital Musings podcast

Henning Ringholz, Senior Executive at Small Foundation, was interviewed by Esther Pan Sloane, Head of Partnerships, Policy, and Communications at the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) in a recent episode of their highly rated podcast Capital Musings

In a thought-provoking session, Esther and Henning discussed how entrepreneurship in sub-Saharan Africa can be boosted, and where opportunities exist to deliver lasting system change. Henning emphasized the need to work towards sustainable solutions, and Small Foundation’s dedication to overcoming the apparent tension between social impact and commercial viability.

Henning discussed his own pathway into this space, which led him from a small northern German town to working in sustainable investment in sub-Saharan Africa, via stints as an entrepreneur in Chile, a life-changing volunteering experience in Sierra Leone, and a career at the intersection between business and social impact.

The podcast is available on Spotify, Apple podcasts and the UNCDF website, alongside many other insightful episodes with thought leaders and social innovators.
