Small Foundation leadership update

Small Foundation is pleased to announce a change in our leadership structure as part of our growth and evolution. Conor Brosnan, who has led Small Foundation since its inception, will continue in the role of Executive Chair and Chief Investment Officer (CIO), focusing on governance, strategic direction, investment leadership, and selected strategic initiatives.

Liz Wilson, formerly Deputy CEO, has assumed the role of CEO, taking responsibility for organisational effectiveness, operations, team development, and coordination across our growing portfolio of work.

This progression formalises responsibilities that have gradually emerged as our work has expanded – while ensuring clarity, stability, and strong leadership for the years ahead.

Our strategy and mission are unchanged. Small Foundation is deeply committed to supporting thriving, commercially viable MSME ecosystems across sub-Saharan Africa.

We are grateful to our partners, peers, and friends who are part of this journey with us, and look forward to continued collaboration and shared learning.
