The 2025 State of the Sector Report (Oct. 2025) examines how smallholder finance can deliver impact while building viable, resilient systems. It provides data and analysis to help funders, investors, and practitioners understand market dynamics, assess viable business models, and design approaches that extend the reach and effectiveness of finance for smallholder farmers.
The report also explores how value chain actors can play a greater role in providing finance, and how the sector can better respond to climate shocks through smarter risk-sharing and long-term collaboration.
