Village Capital

Village Capital supports impact-driven, seed-stage startups. They utilise a unique peer-selected investment process, and have been designing, honing and sharing new tools, technology and processes to drive capital to a broader set of entrepreneurs, solving problems in sectors that impact people’s ability to live healthy and productive lives, improve the chance for small businesses to succeed, and create a more sustainable environment.

Small Foundation provided multi-annual funding to Village Capital to expand its Africa practice, to develop an agricultural program for the region and to research the impact of enterprise support organisations that work with rural enterprises.
