The Catalytic Capital Consortium (C3) is an investment, learning and market development initiative launched in 2019 to promote the use of catalytic capital, a form of financing that unlocks investment and global impact that otherwise would not be possible. Catalytic capital helps fuel a wide range of impact funds, enterprises, and initiatives. It is a critical resource for addressing urgent global challenges related to climate, health, poverty, justice, and other areas.
Small Foundation is one of ten philanthropic investors supporting a new chapter of work for C3 as it builds collaborations and funds efforts that help expand the global catalytic capital community. By supporting greater and more effective use of catalytic capital, C3 and its funding partners are working to enable a more just, equitable and resilient world.
