Jobtech Alliance, a programme of Mercy Corps, is an ecosystem-building initiative to advance inclusive jobtech in Africa. Jobtech Alliance catalyses large-scale, meaningful employment across Africa through supporting jobtech platforms and building a jobtech ecosystem, which connects technology, capital, and talent to transform how Africans find and sustain quality work.

Small Foundation is supporting Jobtech Alliance’s ecosystem-building work and its utilisation of a systems change approach. Through this support, Jobtech Alliance will continue to grow and expand its curation of geographic and thematic-focused jobtech communities, improve access to data and research on the African jobtech ecosystem and support hands-on investor matchmaking for jobtech ventures.

This current support builds on a previous partnership initiated in 2023, where Small Foundation partnered with Jobtech Alliance to strengthen its systemic capacity and support the documentation of its use of systemic tools, resources and practices.
