African Venture Philanthropy Alliance (AVPA) is pan-African network of social investors collaborating to increase the flow of capital mobilised and deployed for impact across Africa. AVPA is both the leading impact investing network and the only network in Africa that brings together social investors across the entire continuum of capital, i.e. grants, debt, or equity, as well as other actors in the ecosystem that deploy intellectual and human capital.
AVPA is affiliated with similar networks in Europe (Impact Europe), Asia (AVPN) and Latin America (Latimpacto). AVPA leverages these relationships to connect international investors and funders with high-impact investment opportunities across Africa, accelerating the development of impactful solutions to some of Africa’s most pressing social challenges.
