Catalytic Capital Consortium launches 2026 grant call

The Catalytic Capital Consortium (C3) has announced a new grant call for 2026, focused on strengthening the supply and deployment of catalytic capital across sectors and geographies.

We are pleased to support this effort, which aims to unlock new sources of capital and improve the mechanisms through which catalytic capital reaches investable opportunities. At a time when catalytic approaches are increasingly important to address market gaps and crowd in additional investment, this call seeks practical, action-oriented solutions that can accelerate capital flow and expand impact at scale.

The 2026 call invites proposals in three focus areas:

  • Facilitating deployment of catalytic capital by strengthening pathways and on-ramps to investable opportunities
  • Boosting the supply of catalytic capital by engaging new providers or untapped sources of funding
  • Bridging both areas through initiatives that expand capital supply while improving deployment mechanisms

C3 is particularly interested in market-level solutions that reduce transaction friction, improve infrastructure and create replicable mechanisms that can be scaled across sectors and geographies.

Grant requests of up to 150,000 US dollars will be considered. Expressions of interest are due by 4 March 2026. Selected applicants will be invited to submit full proposals in April, with final awards expected in the third quarter of 2026.

Full grant guidelines and application details are available via the C3 grant portal.
