Impact Networks: Create Connection, Spark Collaboration, and Catalyze Systemic Change
By David Ehrlichman
Impact Networks (Oct. 2021) provides a practical guide to creating and sustaining collaborative networks that drive systemic change. Drawing on network science, systems thinking, and interviews with over 40 network leaders, David Ehrlichman offers a clear process for building and strengthening impact networks that bring together diverse actors to address complex social and environmental challenges.
A living-systems approach lies at the heart of this work, helping groups to connect across boundaries, align around shared purpose, and make progress amid uncertainty. Small Foundation first partnered with Converge, the network co-founded by Ehrlichman, in 2018, and continues to apply and share these learnings through our own impact network practice.
